We believe the right journey can change a person for good. That belief was born in Uganda, among misty mountain gorillas, ancient forests and landscapes too wild to describe.
Wander and Wonder began with a shared passion for Uganda's natural heritage, and a wish to share it with the world in a way that feels meaningful, responsible and unforgettable. Our roots are in Kampala. Our reach extends from the United Kingdom, so we can sit with curious travellers across Europe, North America and beyond, and walk them toward one of Africa's most remarkable places.
From the first gorilla trek in the misty heights of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to golden evenings on the savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park, we plan every journey with the care of a craftsman and the knowledge of a local. We are not a call centre or a faceless booking platform. We are a small, dedicated team who live and breathe Ugandan tourism.
Today we look after midrange and luxury travellers who expect more than a standard safari. They expect to be moved, to leave changed, and to arrive home with stories that last a lifetime.

A vision, a city and a long flight
We set out to bring the wonders of Uganda to discerning travellers around the world. Our operations grew from Kampala, and our outreach was anchored in the United Kingdom, so the people planning your trip would always be close to the place and close to you.

We chose three encounters and gave them everything
Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking and wildlife safaris became our focus, three of Africa's most awe inspiring experiences, found in one country. Rather than offer everything everywhere, we decided to know Uganda better than anyone.
