Tour overview

The wildest corner of Uganda

Kidepo Valley National Park is tucked into the far northeast, ringed by mountains and cut by rocky ridges. It is home to animals found nowhere else in Uganda, including cheetahs and ostriches, and it is visited by far fewer people than other parks.

By flying in, you save two days of driving and spend three full days on the ground. You game drive across the Narus Valley, meet the Karamojong people and watch sunsets over open plains. It is a safari for those who want somewhere truly different.

The story of your trip

Three moments you will carry home

THE FLIGHT

Into the empty quarter

The green south gives way to dry gold plains as your small aircraft drops toward the airstrip. There are no crowds, only open land and a warm wind.

THE PLAINS

Dawn in the Narus Valley

The light turns amber, the mist lifts and the first animals step into view. Your driver switches off the engine and everyone listens.

THE PEOPLE

A Karamojong welcome

You walk into a manyatta, a homestead of the proud pastoral Karamojong, and learn how life is shaped by cattle, land and community.
